Extreme weather-resistant
At ACE we don’t just keep out the bad guys, we keep out the weather.
In fact, ACE laminates have been tested against one of the most stringent extreme weather standards in the world, the Florida Building code test protocol for hurricane resistance.
Our security laminate is so strong that when the team at the Discovery Channel’s Storm Chasers deck out the pursuit vehicles that enable them to get up-close video footage of the most violent tornados that hit the US Midwest every year, it’s ACE laminates that they use on their windows.
What’s more, retailers and homeowners will love the fact that our laminates filter out 99% of harmful UV which fade furniture, floorings, fabric and inventory.
Extreme weather requires extreme protection. ACE protection.
Break-in resistant
Alarms and security monitoring services have one purpose: they alert you when the bad guys break in. But in most cases, by the time security officers are dispatched, the intruders are long gone.
At ACE, our job is to keep the bad guys out in the first place.
ACE exceeds the Underwriter Laboratory test standard for Burglary Resistant Glazing Material. This standard, recognized as one of the most stringent in the world, simulates attacks comprised of multiple impacts and high-energy impacts, much like a repeated attack on a window with a baseball bat or a hammer.
Further, ACE laminates meet standards for impact resistance by the Consumer Product Safety Commission and the American National Standards Institute. This means ACE products can be used with confidence in public spaces such as schools and hospitals where a premium is placed on reliability, performance and safety.
Featured by media across North America and indeed, around the world, the strength of ACE laminates are tested every day in the real-world.
ACE security laminates. Keeping the bad guys out for over 20 years.
Bullet-resistant
Since introducing the first bullet-resistant window laminate in the world in 1994, ACE continues to be the undisputed world leader in ballistic-resistant window laminates.
Tested to NIJ Level III-A (44 magnum and 9mm ammunition) and meeting Underwriter Laboratory’s 752-95 standard for ballistic resistance, ACE has established the industry standard for ballistic resistance on glass.
The company continues with this tradition of ongoing product improvement and R&D, by successfully testing against higher calibre threats including 7.62 x 25, 39 and 51 ammunition, point blank range attacks on auto glass (multiple hits from 115 grain 9mm) and even resisting 45 ACP ammunition at point blank range on ¼ inch glass.
If the other guys say they can do the same, tell them to prove it. Because at ACE, we stand behind our product.
Literally.
Bomb-resistant
Having introduced the first bullet-resistant laminate in the world in 1994, ACE increased the stakes in 1995 by successfully testing its security laminates for bomb resistance.
After the bombing of the Alfred Murragh Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995, studies by the Oklahoma Department of Health found that fully 2/3rds of the resulting injuries resulted from flying glass. Five percent of victims hit by glass fragmentation died and a further ten percent suffered permanent injuries.
Used in theatres of conflict around the world, ACE security laminates meet GSA standards for bomb blasts (Level 1 and 2 Ltd.), a level of performance that can greatly reduce injury and death.
ACE laminates are tested every day under some of the most demanding conditions in the world including theatres of conflict.
ACE security laminates. Real-world tested.

Times are getting harder. Economic turmoil is spreading and crime increasing. Civil unrest is breaking out around the world.
Windows remain as the most vulnerable and least protected part of any building. And with ACE, every unprotected window is a business opportunity.
We are now seeking professionals and organizations who share our passion for protecting people and property, worldwide to become independent territory operators for ACE security laminates.
